TGC 2019 Interface Troubleshooting

This guide will help you connect your Skytrak if your TGC 2019 Interface App is not working properly.  Please read carefully.


If your SkyTrak Interface for TGC 2019 experiences crashes, freezes, or will otherwise not connect to or find the Skytrak.
Before starting this guide, please ensure you can connect to your SkyTrak device in the SkyTrak application to verify your license.  Then close the Skytrak application.

In addition, if you are able it is advised to copy your TGC license ID from the SkyTrak Interface App and paste it in a safe place like Notepad.  Click here to locate.

 

  • Exit the TGC Interface if it is open..
    • Ensure it is closed by looking for a Green or Red shield in your notification tray.  Right click and Exit the interface.
  • Download the TGC 2019 installer (You will not need to uninstall anything).  It is available here: https://download.protee-united.com/skytrak/tgcstsetup.exe
    • Once downloaded, open the installer file.
    • READ CAREFULLY - Select "Next", and then select "I Agree."  Do not click install.
    • Uncheck all options, and check Beta Interface, then click Install

           

 

  • Click the Windows Start Menu  and search for Beta Interface.
    • Select Skytrak TGC Interface beta and launch the app:

            

 

  • Once the SkyTrack TGC Interface Beta is open, select the Discover Option.  The interface will say Discovery Finished when complete.
  • Click the empty black box to the right, and select your SkyTrak unit, then click Connect to launch TGC.

       

 

If TGC does not launch automatically, you can click the Start Menu button and search for TGC Simulator Console. to start The Golf Club 2019.

 

 

If your Application says it is unlicensed while using the SkyTrak Interface Beta, open the TGC Simulator Console and select "Licenses" to add your License ID from the original Interface App.

Launch the original TGC Skytrak Interface Application, select Settings, and copy your License Key.
Open the TGC SkyTrak Simulator Console and click Licenses.  Add your License ID and click Activate and Add.
